Los Steelers perdieron su segundo juego contra los Jaguares, por fin jugo el Big Ben pero hay que admitir que talvez no era el momento para que empezara a jugar ya que apenas salio de una operación del apéndice y por lo que comentaron... un golpe fuerte en el abdomen puede traer complicaciones que lo pueden llevar hasta la tumba, es por eso que Ben estuvo tan ziscado todo el partido pero la neta... se la perdonamos. La defensiva estuvo bien aún cuando Polamalu estaba lesionado de un hombro y por eso estuvo el mayor tiempo en la secundaria.

"I was a little under the weather, but I felt okay," said Roethlisberger. "I just wasn't making plays I should have been making. No excuses.

Roethlisberger also had two passes intercepted in the last five minutes of the game, something that is uncharacteristic of him.

"I couldn't get the offense going," said Roethlisberger. "I have to apologize not just to our offense but to our defense. We didn't keep them off the field very long. We didn't convert very many third downs, and a lot of that is on the quarterback's shoulders. When the quarterback is not making plays, then that's hard to do. A lot of it was my fault. I didn't get on the same page as the receivers and I made some throws I probably shouldn't have. I told coach not to worry about me and I'll be okay with another week of practice."
